A comprehensive assessment of the lower limb that includes postural and gait analysis, range of motion testing, palpation, special testing, footwear analysis, a detailed history and review of potentially complicating health factors.

A treatment plan for musculoskeletal injuries, medical conditions, disabilities, and diseases affecting the lower limb, that is developed following a comprehensive assessment and incorporates non-invasive treatment options to improve patient biomechanics, comfort and mobility. A treatment plan is implemented with a patient-centred approach, including patient education and shared decision making. It is evaluated over time in conjunction with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Design and manufacturing of foot orthoses to support a treatment plan that is developed following a comprehensive assessment, using a theoretical & applied understanding of appropriate casting methods, pedorthic lab materials and manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing also includes modifications and adjustments of foot orthoses and footwear based on the assessment results and patient goals


Bracing Consultations

Discussion of injury and available bracing options based on activity level and injury severity.

Kylie is a graduate of the Pedorthic program at University of Western Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy. She is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist.

She is a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada and the Pedorthic Association of Canada.

Kylie is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the College of Pedorthics of Canada. She spent three years as the Exam Implementation Committee Co-Chair and now service as the Ethics Co-Chair. She has also volunteered on the Professional Advisory Council for the Athletic Therapy Program at Sheridan College, the Member Services Committee for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and the Executive for the KW Ladies Fastball League.

Through her education background and previous work experience, Kylie has gained an appreciation for the human body and it’s biomechanics. She has been practicing Pedorthics since 2011 and worked as an Athletic Therapist for ten years.

Kylie has worked with a variety of sport organizations and teams including the University of Toronto Men’s Varsity Rugby and Women’s Varsity Volleyball, Wrestling Canada, the Cambridge Minor Football Association and Special Olympics Ontario.

As a Certified Pedorthist, Kylie has worked with a multitude of patients including post-operative cases, active and non-active individual, special needs and paediatrics.

When she is not in the clinic,Kylie enjoys participating in a variety of activities such as long distance running, crossfit/weight lifting, fastball, hiking and spending time with her family.
